WK ART offers a tailored service to build and manage your art collection by providing independent and expert advice throughout the entire buying or selling process. WK ART can provide access to artworks for both new and seasoned collectors through its knowledge of the international art scene and contacts at galleries in Canada and abroad.
The name WK ART stems from the Renaissance idea of a Wunderkammer or a cabinet of curiosities, which stored a collector’s most rare and beloved objects. WK ART strives to develop personalized collections reflective of a client’s needs and tastes.
Prior to founding WK ART, Diana Hamm worked in London at Lisson Gallery, a leading Contemporary Art gallery. Before working at Lisson Gallery, Diana ran the UK branch of an international art advisory service, advising clients in Europe, China and India. Diana trained in London, at both Sotheby’s Auction House and the Gagosian Gallery at the beginning of her career.
Diana received her Master’s in Contemporary Art from Sotheby’s Institute of Art and graduated from Queen’s University with an honours Bachelor of Arts degree focusing on Renaissance and Baroque Art History. Diana sits on the Sotheby's Canadian Advisory Board and is an active supporter of the AGO and the Power Plant.
Through the network Diana has developed over the years, clients will gain access to galleries, private collections, museums and auction houses around the world.
